Last week, members of the Hollis Cobb team were busy taking part in activities focused on support of clients in both the healthcare and commercial industries.
Hollis Cobb was honored to help sponsor the WellStar Foundation Starlight Grand Slam Gala, the premier event of the year. WellStar is one of Metro Atlanta’s largest health systems serving 600,000 patients each year. The Annual Foundation Gala is WellStar’s largest yearly fundraiser.
The Foundation’s mission is to provide cutting edge tools and medical technology that WellStar physicians need to treat and heal the patient population. This year, proceeds from the annual gala are earmarked for WellStar Trauma Services, with the goal of improving access to critical care for everyone in the community.
Honorary co-chair of the event was Ryan Klesko, an Atlanta Braves first basement and 1995 World Series Champion. The Gala was held at the Coca Cola Roxy Theater on Battery Avenue in Atlanta. Attendees were afforded a sneak peek of the new Braves Stadium at Sun Trust Park. Also honored at the event were philanthropists, volunteers, physicians and clinicians who take part daily in helping WellStar deliver world class care to patients close to home.
Also last week, Hollis Cobb commercial sales staff traveled to Chicago for the Transportation Revenue Management Group (TRMG) Spring Conference where industry leaders discussed “Credit, Finance and all that Jazz.” Hollis Cobb is a TRMG associate and helps fund educational events such as the Spring Conference.
TRMG members are companies in the freight transportation industry and business partners that provide services or products to transportation companies. Hollis Cobb handles transportation and other commercial accounts out of the Chicago office, Bonded Collection Corporation (BCC).
The Annual TRMG Spring Conference was held at the well-known Hyatt Centric on Chicago’s famous Magnificent Mile. Participants attended sessions on Economic Issues in the Transportation Industry; Leveraging Technology; Billing; Compliance; Collection Techniques and Best Practices. An excursion to Wrigley Field capped off the busy but productive event.
Hollis Cobb is dedicated to supporting clients in both the healthcare and commercial arenas, and is always looking for ways to help organizations offer education and other benefits that help improve revenue for all clients. Right now, the Hollis Cobb team is gearing up for HFMA’s (Healthcare Financial Management Association) Annual National Institute, or ANI, set for the end of June in Orlando, Florida. Along with helping to fund the educational sessions at ANI, Hollis Cobb has some fun and even “magical” activities scheduled for clients.
